WHAT?

A radio media tour (RMT) is a series of preset interviews with a spokesperson, expert, CEO/CFO, M.D., and/or celebrity. The talent is usually available for one set date for one, two, three, four or five straight hours. We book 10, 15, 30, 60-minute windows with target radio stations, syndicated programs, networks, and newsfeeds. RMTs are sometimes conducted prior to SMTs - at the same studio. A typical schedule is: RMT, 7:00a.m. to 9:30 a.m. ET and SMT, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET.

WHY?

A RMT enables radio exposure without the expense and inconvenience of an in-studio/in-person city media tour. RMTs allow the talent the opportunity to interview with as many as 6 to 30 markets in one to five hours.

Radio phoners give radio stations more flexibility because they are booked within a specified time frame: i.e., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. ET; Week of February 14th, anytime; National Heart Month - February, anytime...

Radio phoners may be done from any regular phone - no cell phones.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The talent is located in a studio or at a phone at a remote location. We provide the talent with the correct contact name and direct call-in number, trouble numbers and station/program information. The talent will call the station 2-5 minutes prior to the scheduled interview time. Some stations will tape their interview - some will go "live." We do extensive follow-ups with all stations that taped their interview to ensure they will air the interview in a timely manner.

A detailed follow-up report includes airdates/airtimes and audience figures.
